Here are some tips to make a good blog:
things you should do :

-Put a customized image (an artificial photo) on the header ( the top of your blog page)
-Put a tag line (an introductory sentence) at the bottom of the image which introduces the blog
-Choose a simple background which is not attractive, in this way the reader  just focuses on the content of your article.
-The text should be clear with a simple font
-Make a separation between the topics for a good navigation
-Put pictures as much as possible in your article
-Put just a summary of your article on the home page. The visitor just needs to click on a link to have access to the full post. If he wants more information about the authors, he can click on the link called “about us” to know more about the creators of the blog
-leave a place for comments
-Put a lot of extra links
-Put different icons of different social networks for your publicity
